EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The flyweights continue to deliver.

This time, it was Louis Gaudinot and John Lineker delivering. The two engaged in a wild back-and-forth match, with Gaudinot emerging with a second-round guillotine choke victory in a UFC on FOX 3 prelim fight.

The end of the early Fight of the Night candidate came off a scramble, with Lineker trying to get back to his feet. Gaudinot snatched his neck as Lineker stood up. Lineker tried to stack him against the fence, but the ref made Lineker move his hands from the chainlinks, and they fell to the mat. Gaudinot locked it in and put Lineker to
sleep.

The time was 4:54 of round two.

"I love the guillotine," said Gaudinot, who was making his flyweight debut. "I actually said I was going to catch him in the third round and finish with the guillotine."

The first round was mostly a blur of action, with the fighters standing in the center of the cage and exchanging numerous times, much to the crowd's delight. At one point, both men landed clean, the fans erupted, and the fighters shared a quick high-five. But it was Lineker that was landing more cleanly as things developed, and Gaudinot got the message, scoring a takedown with 90 seconds left and working from the top to close out the round.

Gaudinot had been an underdog, with Lineker coming into the fight riding a 13-fight win streak.

"I just want to show them the flyweights belong here in the UFC," Gaudinot said.

It was the first UFC win of Gaudinot's career, as the TUF alumnus moves to 6-2. In losing his Octagon debut, Lineker fell to 19-6.
